Dean Ellen, 92, was called to her Heavenly home June 11, 2022. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to R.J. and Eunice Knapp. Immediately following high school, she attended Blackwood Business School. She worked as a secretary for various companies in Oklahoma City and especially loved her time as the secretary at Hillcrest Christian Church. She was married to her husband, Wayne, for 63 1/2 years Her parents and her brother Arden Knapp preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Neesa and Bill Whitfield, Gwen and Steve Hatfield and Cara and Kenny Goodwin; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00AM Thursday at Resthaven Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Veraden Senior Living and Traditions Hospice for the love and care they provided.
