

Deborah Ann Kubiak, 58-year-old resident of Midwest City, OK, passed away on September 26, 2014 in Hospice Quality Care. Born February 26, 1956 in Oklahoma City, she was the daughter of Curt and Pearl Kubiak. As a child with an intellectual disability, she attended special schools followed by Dale Rogers Training Center (1975-95) and participated in Special Olympics. Baptized a Roman Catholic, she attended mass with her parents and family, most recently at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Midwest City. In 2000, she moved into a shared home in Midwest City and round-the-clock care. Survivors include her father, Curtis Kubiak of Sapulpa; 3 brothers, Dr. Larry Kubiak of Tallahassee, FL; Ron Kubiak of Tulsa, OK; Greg Kubiak of Washington, D.C.; three nephews and a niece; as well as her housemate Cathy Rutherford, her caring parents, Bob and Linda, and several social and home caregivers. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, September 28 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home (8805 NE 23rd St.) with graveside services at St. Teresa’s Catholic Cemetery in Harrah, OK at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 29.
