Deloris Kathlyne Tabor

Deloris Kathlyne "Dee" Tabor passed away on July 29, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. Born on June 5, 1946, to Edgar Morris Thomas and Opaline Neally, Deloris was raised in Spencer, Oklahoma. She graduated from Star Spencer High School with the Class of 1965. After graduation, she lived for a time in Jones, Oklahoma, before eventually making Oklahoma City her lifelong home. On April 1, 1967, Deloris married the love of her life, James R. Tabor. Together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage until his passing on December 4, 2020. Deloris found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was a fan of Elvis Presley, loved the color red, and took great pride in caring for her home and family. As a loving wife, dedicated homemaker, and exceptional mother, she taught those around her the true meaning of love and kindness. Above all else, Deloris treasured every moment spent with her family, who were the center of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James R. Tabor; her parents, Edgar Morris Thomas and Opaline Neally; her brothers, Edgar DeWayne Thomas and Danny Thomas; and her grandchild, Aron Ann Vasquez. Deloris leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her children, James Allen Tabor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Robert M. Tabor and partner Quy Le of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Deloris Ann Vasquez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Kevin Ray Tabor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her brother, Donald Thomas of Midwest City, Oklahoma; her sisters, Roni Nobles and husband David of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Mary Ann Garrett of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Jacob Tabor, Johnathan Tabor, Kylie Tabor, Cody Herbster, and sister-in-law Mary Lou Thomas; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on August 3, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on August 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on August 4, 2026.
