Dennis was the middle child of three children. He was born in Ardmore, OK and lived most of his life in Choctaw OK. He attended Choctaw High School of Choctaw, OK. and graduated in 1981. He lived in several places throughout Oklahoma and Texas and passed from this world peacefully at his home in Choctaw OK.
Dennis worked his entire career in telecommunications working for Guernsey, Dobson Telecom and Hillary Communications.
Dennis is preceded in death by his wife Cynthia, his mother Carlene Copeland, his father Jackie Copeland, grandparents Carl and Peggy Pearson and Jack and Lottie Copeland and grandson, Gage Roberts.
Dennis is survived by his sister Shelly Combs, brother Robbie Copeland, stepmother Tammy Copeland, stepsister Amber Daily, and stepbrother Anthony Kretz. Also, by his children Jered Copeland, Lindsi Copeland, Tyler Copeland, and Hannah Kemper and by his stepdaughters Randa and Georgiana. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved so much
