Diamond Alexus Garver

Diamond attended Norman North High School and was employed at Heyday Entertainment and Sonic. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her best friend, watching Grey’s Anatomy, cheer, volleyball and softball. One of the things that she was most proud of was being a Norman North Varsity Cheerleader. She was a member of the Norman North Link Crew, along with the African American Club.

Diamond is survived by her mother Brandi and her stepdad Bryan “Scott” Martin. She is also survived by brothers; Benito “Bo” Garver, Norman, Billy Newman III, OKC, Andrew Newman OKC, and Elijah Martin, Vallejo, CA. Sisters; Brianna “Bree” Newman, Stillwater, OK, Mia Newman OKC, Cherise Larsen and her husband Hans of El Cajon, CA, Hayley Martin, Vallejo, CA and Comeara Herrera of San Diego, CA also survive Diamond. Other survivors include Grandpas Robert Garver Jr., Mark Young, Billy Newman, Sr., Jerry Vancleave, Grandma, Nancy Vancleave and Great-grandpa Bill Lewis along with multiple other special family members.

Services will be help on Friday, October 7th at 10:00 am at Journey Church; 3801 Journey Parkway, Norman, OK 73072. Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, October 6th from 9:00am until 8:00pm at Primrose Funeral Service; 1109 N. Porter in Norman, OK 73071
