Dolly Beatrice Green

Dolly Beatrice Green, 74, of Jones, Oklahoma passed away February 27, 2016. She was born October 19, 1941 in Arkansas to Roy and Mattie (Nichols) Belt. Dolly married the love of her life, Charles Lee Green and the two spent 55 years together raising a family and making a life together. They had 7 children together. Dolly was a faithful woman of God and loved being a member and attending church services at Victory Apostolic Church. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, growing flowers of any kind, sewing and journaling. She also wrote letters of encouragement to people that had no one else. Dolly especially loved her grandbabies and they will all cherish memories of her and will fondly remember moments spent with her, such as when Dolly prepared chocolate gravy and fried bread for them. She had such a generous and giving soul that she would give anything she had to someone in need, secure in her faith that God would provide. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Dolly is survived by her children: Janet Hancock, Rose Eden, Charlotte Fricker and husband Earl, Mark Green, Karen Kelley and husband Brook, and Daniel “Ben” Green; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 sister; 3 brothers; and many loving nieces, nephews, and family members including those she adopted into her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; son, Charles Samuel Green, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
