

Donald Craig Jones, 59 year-old resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away May 12, 2016 at 5:15 p.m. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born August 30, 1959 in Warner Robins, Georgia, he was the son of Kenneth Charles Jones and Nellie Victoria (Craven) Jones. Don was a “jack-of-all-trades” and wore many hats. He was a preacher, marriage counselor, caregiver, and odd-jobs man, a former Pizza Hut franchise owner, D.J., and security guard, and a salesman of anything and everything. Don enjoyed all types of music and loved singing, particularly gospel music in his later years. He delighted in bartering, liked to tinker with engines and mechanics, and loved to watch old westerns. He knew and told many jokes, was quick-witted, a dear and close friend to many, humble and kind. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Charles Jones. Survivors include his mother, Nell Jones of Choctaw, OK; one son, Kenneth “K.C.” Jones (named after his grandfather and father) of Silverdale, WA; two daughters, Misty Dawn (named after her father) and husband Scott Davies of Saratoga, CA, and Samantha and husband Oscar Jimenez of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Jones of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Vicki Eagles of Yukon, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK, 73141. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
