He was born in Buckeye, Arizona to Charlie Tedder and Rhoda Tubbs. Donald worked at the U.S Postal Office as a postman for 35 years.
He was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Don was a pioneer in women’s sports. He successfully coached the first women’s softball and basketball little league teams for the SouthSide Chiefs. Don also proudly served in the U.S Air Force and, actively served the community through the Triad Group.
He is survived by 1 son, 1 stepson, 6 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. A visitation for Donald will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Southern Hills Baptist Church, 8601 S Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159 with a burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, Oklahoma.
