

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Judy Wisel; his sister, Ellen Louise Rodgers; his nieces Lisa Folk and her husband Chris Folk, Vicki Flores and her husband Ron Flores; his nephews Jeff Armstrong and friend Kim Largent, Arthur Ray Owens and wife Kay Owens, Richard and Martha Chapell and other numerous cherished nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Wisel and father Frank Wisel; his sister Carol Owens and her husband Arthur Owens; and other nieces and nephews.
Donald proudly served in the United States Navy for four years. Outside of service, one of his greatest passions was cycling and exercising. He found joy and freedom in bike riding, and it became a meaningful part of his life. He worked for the US postal service for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends.
Donald will be remembered for his kindness, warm personality, and the way he uplifted those around him. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, and his presence brought light and laughter wherever he went.
Though he will be deeply missed, Donald’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Donald will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159, followed by a Funeral Service starting at 1:00 pm.
