Donna Joy Lane Lambert passed away around noon in Nicoma Park, OK on November 29, 2024, she was 97 years old. She was born in the family home in Meeker, OK on October 30, 1927, to her parents Claud R. Lane and Odessa Crownover Lane.
She is survived by youngest son Geary, granddaughters, Summer of Oklahoma, Krystal of Missouri , and Kimberly and Alexis of Connecticut, and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.F. Lambert, son Ronnie Gene Lambert, sister Dolores Gilley, brother Dennis Wayne Lane, and her parents.
She loved country music and once won a look-alike contest of Loretta Lynn held in OKC! When she was younger and able, she could rarely ever resist getting up to dance when there was good music playing and this was still happening when she had to use a cane! She was nicknamed “Dancin Donna” (by a Preacher nonetheless, LOL)
