

Donna Gail Morris, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was born on November 25, 1947, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to Edward McIntire Chick and Evelyn Elizabeth (Johnson) Chick. She passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Donna graduated from Wichita Falls High School and went on to build a life centered on faith, family, and dedication. She married the love of her life, J.J. Morris, on September 12, 1992, and together they shared 34 wonderful years of marriage filled with love and companionship.
Throughout her life, Donna lived in many places, including Saudi Arabia and Texas, before settling in Oklahoma City, where she made her home for the remainder of her life. She had a deep love for country and Christian music and found great joy in her faith in God. Above all, she cherished her family, especially her beloved great-grandchildren. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She dedicated 25 years of her career to Midland Mortgage Company and was a faithful member of Corner Stone Church in San Antonio.
She is survived by her loving husband, J.J. Morris; her sons, William K. Cranford of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Thomas Wayne Cranford of Dallas, Texas; her brothers, Dennis Chick (Donna) of Delaware, Oklahoma, and Eddie Chick (Patty) of Waurika, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Adrian Cranford and Stephanie Runnels; and her great-grandchildren, Lily Sing, Allie Runnels, and Tobias Runnels. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Dee Cranford; two nephews; and her sister-in-law, Carol Chick.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Evelyn Chick; her son, James Edward Cranford; and her brother, Doug Chick. Donna’s life was a testament to love, faith, and devotion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on May 9, 2026, at 10:00 am.
