

Doris was born to Henry Joseph Garrett and Doris Eisenbeis Garrett on August 20, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK. She married L. G. Bud Tatum on January 1, 1951. This year they celebrated sixty years of marriage. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Doris is survived by her husband Bud Tatum, her children Elizabeth Stewart and her husband Tom, Robert Tatum and Richard Tatum and his wife Michelle; eight grandchildren; Daniel (and Laura) Stewart, Jennifer (and Jon) Sampson, Doug (and Bethany) Tatum, Mark (and Stefanie) Stewart, Garrett, Anelise and their mother Rosemary Tatum, Erin and her mother Maureen Tatum and Emma Tatum and five great-grandchildren; David and Elizabeth Tatum, Hudson, Tatum, and Graham Stewart; her sisters-in-law Eleise Garrett and Ann Garrett. Doris graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City in 1946. She attended Oklahoma A&M and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Doris had many dear friends from her leadership experience with bible Study Fellowship. Doris and Bud went on several mission trips with Wycliffe Bible Translators and the American Red Cross before her health forced them into retirement. Doris also left behind a much loved Bible with many underlinings of her favorite verses. She was a constant and faithful witness to her Heavenly Father and we will miss her dearly!
