

Dorothy Davis, age 94, passed away on Monday July 18, 2011 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born October 1, 1916 in Nowata County, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of William Thomas and Anna Belle (Reddington) Mills. Dorothy received a Bachelors and Master’s degree in accounting while attending East Central State University. She taught business & accounting at Choctaw High School retiring from teaching in the mid 70’s. Dorothy was a longtime member of Eastside Church of Christ and was very active in her church. She was an avid football fan who loved cheering for OU; the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers.. She also enjoyed painting pictures and music. Dorothy wrote a book about her childhood and a book about the genealogy of the Davis family. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Stanley; 1 son, Donald Davis; and three sisters. Survivors include two daughters: Linda Brown and husband Joe of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Evelyn Price and husband George of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Mildred Roe and Ida Mae Roe, both of Ft Worth, TX; and Imogene Esau of Hutchinson, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma. .Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
