Edward Francis Landgraf Jr., 88, passed away suddenly January 1, 2020. He was born in OKC, March 28, 1931. He attended Rosary school, graduated from Classen High School and attended OCU. He was a Korean War Veteran and retired as a commercial roofer from Southwestern Roofing. Edward recently received a 60 year pin recognizing his outstanding service in the Roofers Union. Ed was a great woodworker, poet and storyteller. He was a lifetime member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and lifetime member of the knights of Columbus. He is survived by his sister Mary Hixson, brother in law Wendell Hixson, sister in law Betsy Landgraf, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Ruth Landgraf, sister Ada Wiewel, and his brother Tom Landgraf. He was a great son, brother, and uncle. He spent the last three years in the loving, caring hands of the Norman Veterans Center. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1901 N.W. 18th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73106. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to St. Francis Catholic Church.
