Edward Raymond Rutherford

Edward Raymond Rutherford, 93 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away December 29, 2019. He was born January 4, 1926 in Hulbert, Oklahoma, he was the son Arvol and Ida (Mann) Rutherford. He was a proud veteran that served in World War II. He later then retired from OG&E as a line foreman. Survivors include his wife Jean Rutherford of 72 years; children, Chuck and wife Sandy Rutherford, and Sue Burrow; grandchildren, Keri and husband Steve Ruhl and Ed Rutherford; Great- grandchildren, Ashley Tatom, Jacob Rutherford, Christian Tatom, Margaret Darby, Alex Rutherford and Gage Tatom; 5 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Alden, Virgil and Curtis Rutherford; and sister, Ineta Ferrie. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 1, 2020 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Hahn-Cook/ Street & Draper. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Hahn-Cook/ Street & Draper Chapel, 6600 Broadway Extension Oklahoma City, OK 73116 with burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
