

Mrs. Elaine (Smith) Baker, age 84, of Oklahoma City passed away on September 30, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in OKC. Elaine was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on March 14, 1937 to Coy E and Donna Delia (Andrews) Smith. She grew up in Oklahoma City, attended Classen High School and Oklahoma University. She worked for over 20 years for the Oklahoma State Auditor's office of the Board of Equalization. Her passion was volunteering for the Salvation Army. She held many positions with the Ladies Auxiliary including service as President.
Elaine had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and was a member of Cherokee Hills Christian Church. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is rejoicing with God and her friends and family who preceded her in Heaven.
Preceding Elaine in death are her parents, brother Paul Andrews Smith and stepdaughter Terri Sixkiller. She is survived by her husband, Don Baker of OKC, daughter Kim Keller of OKC, sons Bill Keller and wife Carmen of Daphne, Alabama, Scott Keller and wife Anneshia of Huffman TX. stepson Scott Baker of Plano TX and stepdaughter Kelli Johnson of Houston TX and stepson Ted Sixkiller and wife Madeline as well as 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, October 3, at 2PM at Cherokee Hills Christian Church in Oklahoma City.
