Eldon Larry Burns

Eldon Larry Burns passed peacefully at his home on June 1, 2022. Larry was born on May 22, 1954 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to E.L. & Georgia Burns. Larry attended and graduated from Putnam City Original High School and would eventually go on to join his father, at the Burns Paving Company, a true family business.

Larry Burns was a member of Siloam Lodge #276, Illustrious Potentate of India Shrine and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite. He loved to ride motorcycles, go to the lake and play guitar.

He was predeceased by his wife; Lila, his parents; E L & Georgia Burns, Sister; Melody Doty, son of Melody, Edward and brother of Larry, Daryll.

He is survived by his sons; Eldon (Lu) and Edward (Hannah) Burns, Brother; George (Marianna), Grandsons; Ethan, Eli, Everett and Easton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors, 6600 Broadway Ext., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are to be made to the India Shrine General Fund, 3601 NW 36th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper.
