Elizabeth "Libbie" Ann Britton

Libbie was born on December 3, 1940, in Springfield, Illinois. She became the chosen daughter of Albert and Lillian Peterson on July 5, 1943.

Libbie married her first love, Edward “Ed” Miller on July 19, 1958. They shared 41 years of marriage until his death in 2000. They were blessed with three children, Michele, Michael and Merri.

After many years, Libbie was reunited with a childhood friend and high school sweetheart, Charles “Charlie” Britton. They were married on January 27, 2007. To have been blessed with a second love during her lifetime has been the best gift of all.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Charles Britton, of the home; children Michele Bardrick and her husband, Mike, of Edmond, Merri Reynolds and her husband, John, of Yukon; daughter-in-law Elizabeth "Cookie" Miller; grandchildren, Patty Bardrick, Christine Toy, Patrick Lee and his wife Ashley, Amber Caveny and her husband, Chris, Lisa Miller, and Rachel Miller; bonus children by marriage David Britton and Laura Dallaire; great-grandchildren Marshall Bobo, Whitney and Catherine Toy, Kayla Lee, Hunter and Brynley Caveny; bonus great grandchild Ellen Dallaire.

Libbie was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Lillian Peterson; her husband, Edward Miller; her son, Michael Miller; her son-in-law, Michael Lee; and sweet infant great grandson, Grayson Bobo.

Graveside services for Libbie will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City.
