Elsie Lee Brown, 103, of OKC, passed away September 12, 2011. She was born June 16, 2011 in Chickasha, OK, to Samuel Hiram and Katherine (Haffner) Brown. Elsie Lee was a 1926 graduate of El Reno High School and a 1929 graduate of The University of Oklahoma. She had a dedicated career with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Elsie Lee loved her church, First Presbyterian, where she remained active as long as her health allowed her. She lived at 524 N.W. 48th until Nov. 2000 then moved to Hearthstone Assisted Living Center until her death. She is survived by her first cousins Mary Ann Snethen, Elizabeth Porter, Petie Biehler as well as numerous extended family members. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2011 in the Watchorn Chapel at First Presbyterian Church with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
