

Erma Lurline Woods was born on December 29th, 1931, in Oklahoma City to parents Orville and Martha Lowell. Erma attended school in Moore for first through twelfth grade, along with one year of business college. She was married for thirteen years.
Her spiritual journey began at seven years old at the First Moore Baptist Church when it was just a small white building. Ermas parents and teachers instilled a love for music and dancing, she loved singing in the choir. As a teenager she joined the Oklahoma Kilty Band and went on Chamber of Commerce tours playing german horns, she later acted as the band director for five years. She also played the baritone sax for her church. Erma worked as a banker from her early twenties until she retired at eighty years young.
Erma loved traveling, she was fortunate enough to meet her in-laws in England and spend a wonderful Christmas in London. She enjoyed a cruise to Alaska with three of her friends. They even got to fly on a helicopter and land on an iceberg.
Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home on March 16, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Advantage Funeral Home Chapel on March 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm, a Graveside Service will follow at Moore City Cemetery.
