Errol R. Marshall was born on December, 17, 1938, to Orval & Winona Marshall, in Mecca, CA. He was the oldest of 6 children, Greta (Marshall) Diehl, (Derrol) Wayne Marshall, Neita Jo (Marshall) Cross, Donna (Marshall) Graham & (Owen) Rodney Marshall. He passed away on June 25, 2022 of natural causes. Errol was married to Margie Marshall on December 5, 2009, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Errol attended Coachella Valley High School. He drafted into the Army and served at Fort Ord, in Paso Robles, California, as a Private E-3 Military Police and was decorated as a rifle marksman. He loved showing his 1940 Ford Coupe at Hot Rod shows and won many awards. Errol had many hobbies over the years, including deep sea boats and fishing and dune buggies in the Southern California sand dunes. He loved to travel and spent time in Australia and China. In his later years, he travelled in his motorhome with his wife Margie, where they saw many sights including Glacier National Park.
He was a member of the Elks Club, Free Masons and the El Bekal Shriners. He had 67 years working in the grading industry as an operator, foreman, superintendent, small business owner and finally consulting to Paragon Contractors, in Tulsa, Ok.
He is survived by his wife Margie, her children, Woody (Pam) Woodard, Brenda (Rod) Alexander. Grandchildren Ryan (Keeley) Woodard, and Kylee (Tanner) Wentworth. Great grandchildren Evelyn, Vivian & Emery Woodard and Beau & Boone Wentworth. Errol's daughters, Pamela (Tommy) Sheppard and Paula Mandich. Grand Daughters Lauren (Eric) Corson, Laurel (Garrett) Donovan, Magan (Gage) Bright and Kayla (Josiah) Nurmi. Great Grandchildren Blythe & Hadlee Corson, Emmett & Everitt, Bodhi Nurmi.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper in the Chapel in Oklahoma City. Memorial contributions can be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
