

Jeanne was born on January 3, 1938 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Eva and Harry Smith. She grew up in a loving home with her two sisters, Jody and Carolyn, and brother Kenneth.
In her early adulthood, Jeanne worked at the Biltmore Hotel in Oklahoma City as a manicurist. It was there that she met William “Bill” Skeith. Jeanne and Bill went on to share 62 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered around love, family, and devotion. They raised two sons, Andrew and Joe, who were their pride and joy. Jeanne was a loving mother who enjoyed being in roles such as homeroom mom, den mother to the cub scout troop, and was always found cheering her boys on at any sporting event they were in.
She cherished time spent with her family and found happiness in life’s simple and beautiful moments. Jeanne’s home is filled with décor items she handmade, which reflects her creative spirit. She was also a talented seamstress, making and altering clothes for her family, and creating many beautiful patchwork quilts. Jeanne enjoyed gardening and always kept an immaculate yard and flower beds.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, as well as her grandson, Adam Skeith.
She is remembered fondly by her loving husband, Bill Skeith, her sons, Andrew Skeith and Joe (Sheila) Skeith, her grandchildren Jacob (Sarah) Skeith, Maggie (Robert) Petrosino, and Rachel Skeith, and her great-grandchildren, Marley, Jackson, and Riley Petrosino, and Norah, Jackson, and Natalie Skeith.
Jeanne will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the love she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who love her.
