Fannie "Jimmie" James Hasel

Fannie "Jimmie" James Hasel, 91, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jimmie was born on October 20, 1931 in Eagletown, Oklahoma to her parents John Riley and Ruby Jewel (Lyman) Stone.

Jimmie attended school in Pryor, Oklahoma. She married William David Hasel Sr. on June 30, 1989. She was a dietician in the healthcare industry. They were active members of the House of Prayer in Del City, Oklahoma. They traveled monthly with the Frontier Good Sam’s Travel Club. Bill and Jimmie always made a big garden. They enjoyed fishing at Lake Texoma and around the State of Oklahoma. They raised boer meat goats. They enjoyed life in the country and visits from family and friends. Above all else, Jimmie was thrilled at the birth of the many grand and great-grandchildren.

Jimmie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 24 years Bill Hasel; parents, John & Ruby (Lyman) Stone; brother, Tom Stone; sister, Ann Joten; brother, Leslie F. Stone; and brother-in-law Norm Hasel.

Jimmie is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Cross & husband Gerald of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy Short of Myrtle Point, Oregon; daughter, Cathy Javorsky of Edmond, Oklahoma; son, Raymond Dyer II & wife Brenda of Choctaw, Oklahoma, her sister, Ruby (Stone) Jones of Huber, Oklahoma. She is also survived by Bill’s children: David Hasel and wife Margaret of Chama, New Mexico; Mike Hasel & wife Joyce of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Cheryl Cox & husband Tom of Newalla, Oklahoma; Walter Hasel & wife Cindy of Palestine, Texas; and sister-in-law Wanda Hasel of Prague, Oklahoma.

A visitation for Jimmie will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Quail Springs Baptist Church, 14613 N. May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73134. Harold Mathena will officiate the service.
