Flora Nell Smith

Flora Nell Smith, 80 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away March 5, 2015 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born April 11, 1934 in Coleman, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Rufus Alexander Overstreet and Eleanor (Pool) Overstreet. Flora was a professional housekeeper who cleaned homes for many years. She loved to play the guitar and being around children. Flora was married for 47 years to Marshall Smith until his death. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Marshall Smith; 2 daughters, Lisa Marie Smith; and Paula Louise Dillon; 2 sons, Danny Marshall Smith; and Billy Donnell Smith; 1 granddaughter, Lisa Marie Dillon; and 1 grandson, Tracy Don Fulbright. Survivors include 3 sons, Kenneth Dewayne (Cindy) Smith of McLoud, Oklahoma; Floyd Dale Smith of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Dennis Lee Smith of Midwest City, Oklahoma; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Flodell “Sweetie” Lackey of McLoud, Oklahoma; and Norma Gail Upchurch of Wapanucka, Oklahoma; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
