Florence Carol Gosselin

Florence Carol Gosselin, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at her home in Midwest City. Florence was born on June 20, 1943 in Fort Kent, Maine to her parents Maxime & Emelda (Pelletier) Theriault.

Florence was an exceptional chef who also owned several of her own restaurants throughout her life. She loved cooking for her customers, family, friends, the V.A., the Senior Center, and her neighbors. She also enjoyed her doll collection and loved anything that had to do with angels. Florence's favorite vacations were her trips to visit her family in Massachusetts. She was also the first female teamster for the General Motors Union. She was tough as nails with a heart of gold. Florence was also a devout Catholic, a member of the V.A., Triads, and a Senior Center volunteer.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents, Maxime & Emelda Theriault; son, David Gosselin; daughter, Connie Gosselin; son, Ralph Gosselin Jr.; brother, Maurice Theriault; brother, Pete Theriault; sister, Babe Lavertue; and granddaughter Amber Reed.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Gosselin; son, Marcel Gosselin & spouse Aline; daughter, Brenda Dyer & spouse Raymond; daughter, Sonya Campbell; son, Nicholas Gosselin-Ziegler and spouse Bryan; sister, Mae Saucier; sister, Norma Mason; sister Dianne Daviau; sister, Bea Kennedy; sister Helen Pietraszkiewicz; sister, Mable Marino; brother, James Theriault; brother, Clifford Theriault; brother, Melton Theriault; brother, Melvin Theriault; brother, Rodney Theriault; grandchildren, Nicole Reed, Tabatha Lewis, Brian Gosselin, Christopher Gosselin, Brandon Gosselin; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Florence will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A graveside service will occur Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 3400 North Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
