Florine Ramsey Campbell passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011. She was born March 6, 1921 to Taylor and Loma Atchison. Flo grew up in Okemah, Oklahoma and graduated from high school in Okemah in 1939. Following high school Flo received her Registered Nurses license through Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City and was the Director of Nursing at Bellevue Nursing Home for 20 plus years until her retirement at the age of 75. One of the highlights of Flo’s life was going on antique car tours with her husband Herman. Preceding Flo in death is her first husband Tom H. Ramsey, Daughter Jane Dyer, Son Tom S. Ramsey, Sister Pauline Atchison and brothers Rudy and John Atchison. Surviving Flo is her husband of 25 years, Herman Campbell, Daughter Sandy Shipley and her husband Bob, Son Steve Ramsey and his wife Elise, Step-Daughters Nancy Bradley and her husband Joe and Susan Sawyer and Husband Mike. Flo is also survived by 10 grandchildren as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
