Frances “Kay” Reeves, 66, of Spencer, OK passed away July 16, 2014. She was born September 3, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK to Everett Raymond and Lucille Mary Noe. Shortly after high school Kay began working at Globe Life Insurance Company and had recently received commendations for 45 years of service. Kay enjoyed riding horses in parades, especially in support of St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network, often decorating her horse for the theme or season. She also enjoyed camping with her husband Roy and the two would often join her sister Goldie and her husband, Terry for camping trips where they would ride horses through woods and mountains alike. Kay enjoyed trips to Branson, and going to swap meets in Canton and in her younger years enjoyed riding four wheelers and dune buggies at Little Sahara with her family. Her all-time favorite food was catfish and she loved eating it as often as she could. Kay enjoyed many things, but nothing more than her grandsons. She adored the boys and they were the light of her life. Her family meant everything to her and she would do anything for them. When her son, Darin, was home recovery from a very serious illness, he was not able to care for himself so his wife was unable to work while she cared for him. Kay used every dime she had and some she didn’t, she maxed her credit cards, to make sure they had food and their bills paid. It wasn’t easy on her but she gave selflessly to ensure they survived. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her son, Darin Riddles and his wife Megan; grandchildren, Robert & Logan Riddles; 2 brothers, Everett Parker and John Parker and his wife Barb; 1 sister, Goldie Demory and her husband Terry; and many other family and friends, including her ex-husband John Riddles and his wife Lyna and her fur-friends Cuddles the dog and Smokey the cat. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lucille and Everett Parker. A brother, A.W. Parker and an infant sister, Sylvia Mae Parker and her fur-friends Casanova “Nova” the cat, and Buckles, Holly and Ranger the dogs. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK.
