Frank "Rudy" Rudell Swan Jr.

Frank “Rudy” Rudell Swan, Jr., 64, entered the gates of Heaven on June 19, 2015 while surrounded by his family. Rudy was born on October 10, 1950 in Oklahoma City, OK to Frank Rudell and Elizabeth Rowena (Hallman) Swan, Sr.

Rudy surrendered his life to Christ in 1974 by following in believers Baptism. He would spend the next 40 years as a faithful member, deacon and youth Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist Church in Harrah. Banking was his life-long career and in 1999 he retired from First State Bank of Harrah. Rudy loved traveling with his family and friends and has visited all seven continents and enjoyed 51 cruises. He also could be found playing four or five sets of tennis. Sudoku, wallyball, and fine dining were also some of his favorite past times, and on a good day you could say he was a fair weather OU fan!

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents; Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Patricia; children, Trey Swan and wife, Mysti, Christy Slama and husband, Steve, Ashley Swan; grandchildren, Gracen Swan, Mason Slama, Faith Swan, Caleb Slama, Christian Swan, Madeline Slama, Eden Swan; and brother, Bradley Swan, and wife, Cathy.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Harrah. Interment will be held in the Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneralhome.com.
