

Franklin Wayne Ayres, Jr., 43, of Oklahoma City, passed away on August 16, 2010. Frank was born November 15, 1966 in St. Louis, MO. He graduated Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, MO in 1984. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1988 with a BBA in Finance. While there, he joined Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, where he developed many enduring friendships. He was well accomplished in his professional career, working the last 9 years as Territory Manager for Presidio. Frank married the love of his life, Shelly, in a beautiful sunset ceremony at Laguna Beach, CA on May 23, 2004. Frank was blessed with an adventurous spirit and lived life to the fullest. He had many interests, including travel, golf and OU football. As a licensed pilot, one of his most memorable trips was when Frank flew Shelly on a two-week adventure to scenic New England, combining his two loves - Shelly and flying. One of his greatest blessings happened on August 9, 2010, when Frank and Shelly experienced the joyous birth of their son. Frank, I am so thankful God placed you in my life. You were an amazing husband who brought love, joy and content to my life that will never be forgotten. Your life was an example of strength, wisdom and courage. You are truly the love of my life... I will always love you and miss you so much! Shelly. He is survived by his loving wife, Shelly, and their son; his father, Franklin W. Ayres and his wife Sherry; his mother, Kaethe Ayres; his sisters: Christina Ayres and Karen Becker and her husband Jeff Becker; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fielding and Claudia Yost; brother-in-law, Matthew Yost and his wife Becky; his niece, Abbigail; his nephew, Luke; and his faithful companion, Saki-dog. A celebration of his life will be held at Crossings Community Church, 14600 N.
