Fred W. Probst, age 53 of Wellston, Oklahoma, passed away March 4, 2013. He was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma July 24, 1959 to Fredrick W. and Delores Probst. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1977-1981. He was a member of Oklahoma Lumberman’s Association and Victory Church. Fred enjoyed shooting guns and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Karen of 31 years; one son, Travis Probst of Harrah; one daughter, Jennifer Eden and husband Jared of Anadarko, OK; his mother, Delores Poche’; four grandchildren: Evan, Kaiden, Henley, Gage; one brother, Jeff Probst and wife, Kim; two sisters: Pam Schalk and husband, Mark, and Linda Hughes and husband, Kent; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7th, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Victory Church with burial to follow at Ft. Sill National Cemetery at 2:00pm in Elgin, Oklahoma.
