Gail Borden Lincoln passed away on January 13, 2025, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Gail was one of six children born to Jack Lincoln and Millie Beatrice Wilson Lincoln. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 22, 1936. He attended Central High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the 9th Infantry and was a Jump Master, teaching others to jump from planes.
He spent his entire life living in Oklahoma City until the mid-90’s when he moved to Edmond where he lived until his passing. While living in Edmond, Gail was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
He enjoyed visiting with friends and family whether that was while watching OU football, NASCAR or the New York Yankees. He always enjoyed the family trips to Lake Tenkiller as well. He did enjoy fishing.
Gail was a kind person who loved his family deeply. He taught his children to always be nice, respect and help others. Also, be the job big or small, do it right or not at all. I’m sure this sentiment was much appreciated by his employer. At Southwestern Stationery and Bank Supply, Gail was a devoted employee working as a printer for 45 years.
Gail was preceded in death by his parents, his son Gary Don Lincoln, and his siblings Jimmy Lincoln, Johnnie Lincoln, Jackie Doler, Beatrice Dozier, and Peggy Burns.
He leaves to carry on his legacy his children Raye Lynn Fisher of Blanchard, OK, Laura Gail Kirby of Moore, OK, Barry Scott Lincoln and wife Rhonda of Oklahoma City, OK and Gregg Cole Lincoln of Edmond, OK, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, one great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends and his beloved cat, Mai-Seng.
