Ganeta Jean Goodman

Ganeta Jean Goodman, “Grandma Goody,” 98, of Midwest City, passed away March 17, 2023. She was born on October 12, 1924 in Duke, Oklahoma to Hubert and Teance Hays. Jean, a Christian woman, put family, friends and her Faith first. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church for 60 years. She worked for First National Bank of Midwest City for 20 years. Jean was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend. She was the first born of eight children. She is survived by sisters, Peggy, Erma and Treva, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by husband Carrell “Grandpa Goody” Goodman, son Rick, daughter Judy, grandchildren Barbie, Mitchell and Linnie, her brother Hubert, “Junior,” and sisters Jo, Vera and Barbara Ruth.

Services April 12th, 2 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, with interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, OK. If you would like to give in Jean’s name, please donate to your local Meals on Wheels organization.
