George Edward “Ed” Keasler, 71 year-old resident of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away on May 6, 2016 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Born September 6, 1944 in Jennings, Arkansas, he was the son of James Carroll Keasler and Allie Smith. Ed was a union truck driver for many years. He loved going fishing especially with his grandson, Andrew. They loved juglines and channel catfish. Ed enjoyed hunting with his sons and woodworking and carpentry. He is survived by his wife Sharon Keasler of Eufaula, Oklahoma; 2 sons, Larry (Linda) Keasler of Spencer, Oklahoma; and Martin Keasler of Warr Acres, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Andrew and Brooke; 3 great-grandchildren, Alyssa; Bronx; and Jayelyn; 2 sisters, Glenda Wright of Newalla, Oklahoma; and Ila “Boots” Cox of Eufaula, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with burial to follow in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
