George J Kouba

George James Kouba passed away May 19, 2017, he was born May 24, 1926. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Lil. George is survived by his children Steve Kouba and his wife Barbara, and Janice Parks and her husband Michael as well as 7 grandchildren Stephanie Fretwell and her husband Joe, Phillip Parks and his wife Lindsay, David Kouba and his wife Heather, Patrick Parks, Andrew Kouba and his wife Sara, Jonathan Kouba and his wife Stephanie and Mary Beth; and 8 great grandchildren Easton, Timothy, Mark, Ruthie, Andrea, James, Davis and Elizabeth. George retired as the Finance Director from Oklahoma Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance after 43 years of service. Enjoyed playing bingo and formed a dominoes club at Concordia. He also enjoyed gardening and watching all forms of sports. His favorite teams were the OSU Cowboys, OKC Thunder and the Chicago Cubs. He was an accomplished bowler who bowled several games in the 290s. He coached his sons’ baseball and basketball teams.
