George Douglas Mallory, age 89, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. George was born July 29, 1933 in Marlow, Oklahoma. A graveside service for George will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
George Mallory went to meet his heavenly Father September 23, 2022. He was born July 29, 1933 in Marlow, OK. He grew up in Oklahoma City where he met his wife, Doris, of 68 years. He worked in the oilfield for many years and they traveled all around the world. After returning home to OKC, he owned a car lot and domino parlor. He dabbled in horse racing and had a few horses he kept at "the ranch." George had a great love for his family and all animals. He enjoyed playing dominoes, poker and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Doris Mallory, his parents, James Ennis and Ora Mallory, brothers, James Ennis Mallory, Jr. and Bill Mallory, sisters, Mary Howell and Wanda Wyatt. He is survived by his son Mikeal Mallory, daughters, Brenda and husband Ron Mayfield, and Sherri McCoy. Grandchildren, Toni and husband Judd VanMeter, Melissa Mayfield, Mikeal Douglas Mallory, II, Stacy and husband Travis Smith, Shane and Matthew McCoy. Great grandchilren, Taylor and husband Colten Scott, Ty VanMeter, Melina Landeros, Luke and Jacob Adkins, Jacey Georgia Smith, Zerrick Smith, Mikeal Douglas Mallory, III, and Katelyn McCoy. Great great grandchild Drew McGill, sister, Betty Mallory, dearest friend Delia Koegl and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
