Gordon Earl Heller, 81, passed away on February 3, 2011. Gordon was born July 13, 1929 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania to Ruth Heller. After 24 years, Gordon retired from the United States Air Force. He enjoyed golfing, going to Broken Bow with the grandkids, skiing, put-put, watching his grandson, Austin play baseball. Gordon also played semi-pro ball in his younger years.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas Heller, Pauline Schultz. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Sue Heller; children, Pamela Heller, Sherry David and husband Ron, Ronnie Caldwell and wife Tami, Vicki Long and husband James; brother, Richard Heller; grandchildren, Austin and Bailey Davis, Matthew and Bethany Croslin, Lindsey Barks, Phoenix Cullens, Spencer Sakurai; and one great-grandchild, Charlee Barks.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel.

Gordy, I will always remember your kindness and sense of humor. I was around you 5 days a week, for over 12 yrs. when I worked at Tinker Golf Course. To the family, I'm very sorry for your loss, he was a very nice man. We will all miss Gordy. My prayers are with your family.

I am so sorry about Gordon. He was always there to visit with me on the phone when you were out running around or playing ball. Sure will miss him. But I still have you and what a friend you have been. We'll hold on to our memories and let them guide us during this time of sadness.
