

Hans Albert Roodschild, 65, Born April 4, 1948, in Maracaibo, Venezuela, passed from this life after an extended illness on January 30, 2014, at the VA hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A resident of Oklahoma City for only the last five months, Hans and his family previously resided in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, L.S. Roodschild, his mother, Petronella Roodschild, and by his sister Maria Shinkman. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Evelyn Mary Roodschild, his son Jon Albert Emile and his wife, Allison, of Heltonville, In, and by his daughter, Jennifer Lynne Howard and her husband, Michael of Edmond, Oklahoma, and by his six grandchildren Noah and Emma Howard; Hunter, Zaden, Baron, and Walter Roodschild. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Norm Flint of Lompoc, California, nieces and nephews, a numerous hosts of brother and sisters in Christ and many other friends.
He cherished his family more than words can describe, but most importantly, he cherished his God and the Lord’s church. He was baptized into Christ in November 1969, and always considered that the greatest decision of his life.
A memorial service will be Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Exchange Parkway Church of Christ, 1008 E. Exchange Parkway, Allen, TX 75002. A memorial service will be Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 10 A.M., at the Northwest Twenty-First Street Church of Christ, 3440 N.W. 21st street, Oklahoma City, Ok 73107 with a luncheon to follow.
