Hien Xuan Nguyen passed away on March 22, 2015. He was born on November 29, 1991, in Saigon, Vietnam to Lien and Hoan Nguyen. Hien was attending the University of Central Oklahoma studying nursing, and serving and internship with the OKCPD. Hien was also working at Candid Color Systems. In his free time, Hien enjoyed several hobbies, which included pool, photography, weight-lifting, reading, and video gaming. He also spent time playing basketball and volleyball. Throughout his life, Hien had many great achievements, from being on the President’s Honor Roll, and twice on the Dean’s Honor Roll. Hien was also very proud of the moment he graduated from High school, and nearly achieving his college degree through the University of Central Oklahoma. While in college, Hien contributed his time to being an active member of the Asian-American Student Association, and the Criminal Justice Club. Hien is survived by his parents, Hoan and Lien Nguyen, and two siblings: Hiep X. Nguyen, and Hy X. Nguyen. Memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 28 at Chapel Hill funeral Home with inurnment following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
