“Sonny” Hilton C. Hazel Jr. 67, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born January 30, 1944 in Monroe, Louisiana to Minnie Mae and Hilton C. Hazel. Sonny was a self-educated man who held an honorary degree in life. There wasn’t a task, job, or profession that he didn’t try and excel at. He served honorably in the United States Air Force and was always a patriotic man. He lived life passionately and fully. He is survived by his wife of almost 17 years, Jaime Joy, his two children Renee Bell and Zandra Kessler, five grandchildren; Shelby Kessler, Jessica Bell, Chrisstie Flanigan, Katy Bell, Thomas Kessler, and two great-grandchildren Robbie Bell, and Cazzie Kessler. Not to mention a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Saturday, September 24th at 11:00 AM.
