Hubert Wesley Caldwell Sr.

He was the husband of Carolyn Frances Burnett and they were married for 56 years until her passing on October 5, 2020. Hubert is a 1962 graduate of Atkins High School and worked for Western Electric/AT&T for 37 years before retiring. In 1988 the family moved from Winston-Salem, NC to make Oklahoma City, OK their home.

Hubert is survived by his children, Scarlett (Joseph) Gailes of Clemmons, NC, Hubert Wesley Caldwell, Jr. and Krystal Caldwell both of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandchildren, DeJuan (Jessica) Gailes and Brandon Gailes; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Rivera; two sisters, Geraldine Davis of Walkertown, NC, and Hazel Donaldson (Otis) of Alpharetta, GA in addition to a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his sister Christine Campbell.

Memorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 3, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7001 Westlake Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73142 and via Zoom (Westlake Congregation).
