Aimee was born on March 10, 1968 in Taiwan to Chun-Shui Chen and Hsing Hsu. Aimee passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 57.
Aimee married the love of her life Rocky Smith on August 9, 1993 and inherited three step-children, Christie, Rockell, and Josh. Josh and his children, Alexus, Trinity, Avery and Olivia became as if they were Aimee’s own family as she loved them dearly and always looked forward to seeing them. She would always have some little treasure from China or Coach purselet to give them. Her face lit up when she was in their presence. Aimee enjoyed visiting her dear Rocky at the gravesite on his birthday and other times throughout the year and always appreciated the kids and grandkids meeting her there. During times when Aimee was not able to make it due to health, the grandkids always made sure to still visit and would send her a picture of the new flowers or trinkets put on the gravesite. Aimee wishes that this tradition would continue to carry on in the future.
Rocky and Aimee spent numerous times exploring the world although Taiwan and China was always dear to their hearts as she loved seeing her family. In recent years Aimee always enjoyed talking about Millie’s twins and how she couldn’t wait to take Avery and Olivia to Taiwan to meet them.
Aimee had a master’s degree in accounting and spend many years working for the Chyenne and Arapaho Tribe. Aimee had a heart like no other – full of kindness, generosity, and love that touched everyone she met. She gave selflessly, loved deeply, and found joy in lifting others. Her legacy is one of compassion, laughter, and unwavering care for her family and friends.
Aimee leaves behind her mother Hsing Hsu, her sister Millie Chen, her brother Chao-Yu Chen, three stepchildren, Christie Belcher, Rockell Sisco and husband James and Josh Smith, nine grandchildren Tyler, Makayla, Braylee, Colton, Alexus, Trinity, Avery, Ryder and Olivia, nieces Ashley, Norah, Zoey and nephew Jesse. Aimee also leaves behind a sister-in-law and dear friend Monica Lee.
