Hugh Dooley, 74, left us on March 29, 2012. He was born to Bill Dooley and Virginia Dooley Paulk. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Dooley. Hugh is survived by his father by marriage “Willis” Paulk of Kingsville, Texas; his wife of 53 years Della; daughters, Kimberly Biggers (Steve), Lesley Firth and children Ashley and Montana; son, Bill Dooley (DeDe) and children Ian, Colton, Sidney, Amy (Rich) and her son, Calin.
Hugh is also survived by sister-in-law Jacqui and her sons Cary and Chris Dooley and their families; aunt Doris Ruth Stowe; cousin June Horton; brother and sisters by marriage Carroll Wayne Paulk, Sherryl Stolz, Wanda Gillete and Martha Franklin as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Hugh’s retail career began with the C.R. Anthony Company. After 25 years, he left Tulsa, owned two retail stores in Noel, Missouri then moved to Oklahoma City where he owned and operated Maaco Collision Center. PaPa’s love for each grandchild was never ending. He loved the game of golf, the Dallas Cowboys and Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crossings Community Church Building Fund. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel.
