Ira Lewis Williamson

Born in Ardmore, OK son of J.B. and Catherine Williamson on April 24, 1944. He graduated from Lincoln Berwyn High School. Ira entered the Air Force and received an Honorable discharge. He began a career in truck driving and worked odd jobs until his retirement.

Ira accepted Christ at an early age where he attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church (Ardmore, OK). He was an Honorary Deacon at Judah Christian Assembly (Oklahoma City, OK). Lewis enjoyed playing dominos and fishing. Lewis will be remembered by his smile and saying” I’ll be standing by!”

He is survived by his significant other Stephanie Morrison and her children, his siblings, Arthur Williamson (Ardmore, OK), Terrie Lee Williamson (Ardmore, OK), and Willie Mae Wallace (OKC, OK). A host of nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own children. Cousins and relatives whom he cherished.

He was preceded by his parent J.B. Williamson and Catherine Williamson, Brothers Jerry, George, and Joseph. Sisters, Dorothy Hughes, Faye Berryman, and Catherine.
