

J. Jack Donald, Jr. 77-year-old resident of rural Wellston, OK, passed away on January 11, 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK. Born September 29, 1933 in Bellingham, Washington, he was the son of James Jack Donald, Sr. and Selma Larson Donald. Jack was a former educator for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and a rancher. He was an outdoorsman loving both hunting and fishing. He was happiest just being "outdoors" and had a deep love of dogs and all animals. He was also a talented writer of short stories. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bonnie J. Donald. Survivors include 1 son, James Donald (Ellen Olofson) of Phoenix, AZ; 2 daughters, Christa Neil (John Wooten) of Hermosa Beach, CA; Karen Donald of Phoenix, AZ; 1 brother, Craig Donald of Olympia, WA; 1 sister, Jacqueline Spinks of Bellingham, WA; and a number of nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens with services under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
