James Godwin, 66 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on May 13, 2013 at his home. Born December 21, 1946 in San Jose, California, he was the son of William Godwin and Blanche Stokes Godwin. James was a former truck driver and had worked at Tinker A.F.B. for many years in pneudraulic air brake repair. He loved woodworking building miniature homes and villages. James was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded by his parents and siblings. Survivors include a host of friends and church family. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
