James Roy Tabor

James Roy Tabor was born August 16, 1946 in Norman, Oklahoma, the son of Johnny and Goldie (Vanwinkle) Tabor. He passed from this life December 4, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 74 years. James had lived in this area most of his life. He worked as a machinist in the steel industry and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed working outside, spending time with his grandkids and building things. He and Deloris Thomas were united in marriage on April 1, 1967 in Oklahoma City. James was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathy Kitchen. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Deloris of the home; children, James Allen Tabor, Robert Morris Tabor, Deloris Ann Vasquez and Kevin Ray Tabor all of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Aron Ann Vasquez, Jacob Dylan Tabor, Jonathan Tabor, Kylie Tabor and Cody Allen Herbster; brothers, Larry Tabor and wife Norma of Newalla and Marshall Tabor and wife Heidi of Choctaw; sister, Jenney Morren and husband David of Jones and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2pm at the Chapel of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
