

A true catastrophe struck the Schaefle family on March 8, 2010 with the passing of Janet Susan Schaefle. Janet was born in Redondo Beach, California on November 21, 1963 to the family of Robert and Helen Butala. She was the oldest of her two siblings. Of the many important moments of her life meeting her future husband, Marco Alan Schaefle, in high school was by far the most significant. The high school sweethearts were true soul mates; they had incredible chemistry that is enviable by any couple. The union of Janet and Marco took place on August 2, 1997 in Roxbourogh Park on a panorama overlooking the monumental red rocks of Colorado. Nonetheless their marriage brought about a gorgeous baby girl named Markee. Janet had previously been married and had a girl whom she named Noel. Both girls take after their mother in the fact that they are good at everything they do, they exhibit zeal and an energetic spirit. Janet’s eldest daughter recently gave birth to a baby boy Named Colt Everett Sweeney. Janet got to meet her grandson and made a wonderful grandmother. Janet had lived in many places some of which include Torrance, California, Denver, Colorado, Edmond, Oklahoma, Yuma, Arizona, and most recently in Oklahoma City. Janet’s extended family members said that “she had the biggest heart” or that “it was an honor to be in her presence, because she lit up the room.” The funeral arrangements have been set for Saturday March 13, 2010 commencing at 3 o’ clock pm. The service will be held at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral home’s chapel- 6600 Broadway Extension Oklahoma City, OK, 73116.
