

Janette P. Walker of Edmond/OKC formerly of Sweetwater, TX died on November 7, 2013, at the age of 89. Born in Boynton OK to Nellie and Emmett Perkins, graduated from Boynton High School, and attended Northeastern State University. She married James A. Walker of Irving, TX, and they lived in Sweetwater, TX for 23 years where she was an accountant at Flintkote Gypsum Company, before moving to Edmond, OK in 1978. She had great faith and was a dedicated member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She loved to play cards, read, cook for her friends and family, and crochet, among other things. She was happiest when surrounded by her friends and family. She had a big heart and her door was always open. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James A. Walker, her sister and brother-in-law Eschol and Elizabeth "Diddie" Haley of Muskogee OK, and brother and sister-in-law Wendell and Hazel Perkins of Weatherford/ Sanger TX. Survivors include four children: daughter Rebecca Boggan and her husband Kurt , of Little Rock AR, John T. Walker of Edmond/OKC, Leslie Mork and her husband Brent of Edmond, OK, J.J. Walker of OKC, OK. Niece Janelle Haley, nephews Pete, Mike, Gary Perkins and their families. Her loving grandchildren Emily Boggan Wineland and her husband Andre Wineland, Ashley Boggan and two great grandchildren West and Graham Winelandd, and many great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to benefit the Westminster music department be made in Janette's name to Westminster Presbyterian Church, or other charities of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 2 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Viewing will be at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 from 8 am-8 pm
