

Javier “La Momia” Villar, 54, passed away on January 12, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK after a long battle with health issues. Born in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico on November 23, 1967 to Jesus Villar and Feliciana Villar. He was loved by many family and friends because of his kind heart and always thinking of others first. Javier worked many years in the restaurant business, including Ninos, Cocina de Mino, Chelino’s, Mazzio’s Pizza and Olive Garden.
His hobbies included watching OU Football, playing golf, loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Cruz Azul Soccer, Boston Red Sox and played softball with the Bad Boyz and Tex Mex. In his time alive, he made so many friends and enjoyed spending time with all his family. Javier is survived by his wife, Alicia Villar, his children, Jesus Villar, Jr., Jose Nano Villar, Jenny Mattox, Alejandro Guzman, Edgar Martinez, Jovanny “Jojo” Guzman, Carwen “Guera” Guzman, his parents Feliciana and Jesus Villar, 7 siblings, 18 grandchildren and 2 beloved pets. He is preceded in death by his brother Jorge, his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Come-and-go Visitation and Prayer Vigil will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 starting at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 2121 N. Portland Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73107. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church.
