Cecil Jeanette (Ray) Garrett was a loving mother and grandmother. She was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on April 7, 1936 to her parents Cecil James Ray and Doris I. (Logan) Ray. She passed away in her home where she was being cared for by her family, especially her granddaughter Laura Bolles as well as hospice nurse Doris Moses. She departed this life on January 11, 2024 at the age of 87 with her loved ones by her side.
Jeanette is survived by her two sons, Robert Ray Stewart and his wife Donna Mae Stewart of Bridgecreek, OK, Scott Alan Stewart and wife Charlotte Ann Stewart of Tuttle, OK. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Her loving husband Don Garrett of 46 years, her daughter Amy Bolles and grandson Joseph (Joey) Stewart.
Jeanette loved God and her family. She instilled in her children to always put God and their families first. She enjoyed listening to Gospel music as well as 60’s and 70’s pop. Reading her bible and watching TV were her passions. She often watched Gospel, the Old Classics and Gunsmoke. When she needed a laugh, Golden Girls would always tickle her.
She will be greatly loved and missed, but her family knows she is now rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus and the loved ones that went before her.
